Every time I log in to the app, I get a "sign in error" and nothing loads. I have to close the app completely and re-open for anything to load. Lately its been crashing constantly and doesnt remember any of the stores I selected to follow. Disappointing considering all the app has is 2-3 pictures from each selected store per day. First- the app needs to be fixed. Second- the app needs to be brought into 2016.
App stalls out when trying to pick a store and the Facebook login crashes and closes the app every time. Useless!
Pics look like thrift store images. Barely 5 images for the store I selected, tried another same thing. Was expecting more.
I like being able to see some of the new items in at my local Homegoods store. Sometimes it entices me to stop in. It used to force close or require a restart to get my store info back from time to time. Annoying, but bearable. As of this week, its stopped working at all. It tells me there are no stores here in CT (or anywhere else) so it wont load any items. Useless.
It was fun to see what was in my 3 local area stores but now I have to log in every time. Silly. Please fix and I will reconsider my star rating. Thank you.
Hey, lets try and fix this app. Cool thanks
After the last update I have to sign in every time I open the app. For those of us with complicated/hyper-secure passwords for everything, a major inconvenience that makes using the app not worth the hassle. I used to check The Goods daily to see what was available in my local stores; Ill probably delete it soon if it isnt fixed. In addition, I feel like the app is underutilized and poorly utilized by some of the employees who upload. I dont think anyone is checking The Goods for a cardboard cat scratcher. We want to see furniture and sought-after, high quality, or on-trend items for the home. And post more items. It cant take that long...we should be seeing a bare minimum of 6 posts a day, per store. When I see something worth the drive on The Goods I absolutely make an extra trip. Good posts, frequent posts...they pay off, they get customers in the store. And most customers, like myself, walk out with bags (or sometimes even carts...or trucks) full of stuff they didnt intend on buying. ;)
After updating, no "buttons" in the menu work ("sign out" takes you unfailingly to "terms and conditions"); it consistently asks you to "follow stores"; signs you out every time the app closes with no "sign in" capability; and crashes. No functionality appears to have been added from the previous version, so the bugs in this one are confounding. I used to check it multiple times a day, and as of a month ago, used it on vacation to find Homegoods as we were driving though different cities. Now? NOPE. Deleted. Consequently, I havent been to a Homegoods in about a month either, after the app quit giving me a peek into the store. Instead, shopping Houzz, Gilt, OneKingsLane, and Wayfair.
Have to sign in every time thru linked Facebook account. Only to then have to re-add all the stores that I want to follow.
Loved this app and used it everyday until the last update. Now it no longer remembers my store and makes me sign in each time I open it. Will delete the app if it is not fixed soon.
I used to check the app daily for items in my local stores (specifically for furniture) but after the update, my password never works. It worked for a moment but then the stores I followed were all wonky. Ive reset my password but to no avail. Please fix and Ill download again. For now its a waste of space on my phone.
Love the store! The app however is absolutely awful. Like other reviewers commented you have to Login every time you open it. Mine has taken to crashing and closing every time I try to login. The last update was a total bust. Dont bother downloading until they fix these issues
Would be a lot better if the costumer a could upload pics of what they found in the store instead only the employee posting.
This app is fabulous because it gives you a glimpse of what is new cool and unique in store. At the same time it is awful because your chances of actually getting said item is very very small! If you are going to advertise that ONE cool item you have, you need to allow holds or purchase over the phone. Running to the store when God knows how many others are doing the same thing is fruitless.
It would be great if there was a search ability. IE: If I follow 15 stores in my area and am looking for an arm chair, I have to scroll through hundreds of pictures and hope I find one in the feed. Enable searching and it would be a lot more useful!
The app is ok for what it is...the people taking the photos need more direction. The point is to drive traffic, so they need to put hot and trendy items on there. We told our local store that we laugh at all the cat tree pics and they have stopped putting them up. Coaching the staff would go a long way!
One positive - employees post available items from stores you choose Negatives - (1) you are at the mercy of what they decide to take pics of (there are LOTS of cat trees and stuff they cant seem to sell (2) the app gives you the option to comment, but dont ask a question because it wont be answered. (3) many of the pics are blurry or the description is wrong
Limited items shown and would be great if there was more of a variety (lamps, chairs, decor).
It works well and I enjoy the convenience of seeing whats new before making the trip to the store.
